    POSITION ANNOUNCEMENT: Director, California Water Resources Institute

    The University of California, Division of Agriculture and Natural Resources, Cooperative Extension, is seeking an academic candidate as Director for the California Water Resources Institute.

    We seek an inaugural director who can provide leadership and operational management including responsibility for activities supported with funding from the Federal Water Resources Act of 1984 and other funding and programs that may be administered by or coordinated through the Institute. The Director reports to the Associate Vice President of Academic Programs and Strategic Initiatives and holds a full-time academic appointment with ANR. The successful candidate will be based in Oakland.

    A minimum Ph.D. or J.D. in a field related to water resources is required.  Beginning salary will be a UC Academic Administrator series and commensurate with applicable experience and professional qualifications.
