Draft Guidebook on Preparing Urban Water Management Plans Now Available

  • Wholly H2o’s January 10th Forum addressing Urban Watershed Management Plans (UWMP) will include Peter Brostrom from DWR. UWMPs are due to DWR on July 30th 2011. To facilitate the process, DWR has released a guidebook which you can access from this post.

    Draft Guidebook on Preparing Urban Water Management Plans Now AvailableA draft guidebook to assist urban water suppliers in preparing a 2010 urban water management plan is now available for review.

    The 2010 UWMPs are to be approved by the water supplier’s governing entity by July 1 and submitted to the Department of Water Resources by July 30.

    Comments on the draft guidebook are due to DWR by Jan. 14, 2011 and may be submitted to   wue@water.ca.gov. A public workshop will be held on Wednesday, Jan. 12 in Sacramento.
