• H2O Conference 2011: Call for Presentations

    The 2011 “Headwaters to Ocean (H2O)” Conference is being organized by the California Shore and Beach Preservation Association, California Coastal Coalition, Southern California Wetlands Recovery Project, Society of Wetland Scientists – Western Chapter and the Tijuana River National Estuarine Research Reserve Coastal Training Program.  www.calcoast.org

    The event will be held May 24-26, 2011 at the Catamaran Resort Hotel and Spa on Mission Bay in San Diego, California.

    The Program Committee is seeking presentations relating to the California coast, ocean, beaches, wetlands, rivers and watersheds including but not limited to the following topic areas:

    Accepted presentations will be organized into sessions consisting of presentations of approximately 20 minutes in duration.

    If you are interested in organizing an entire conference session of four papers, please submit the title of your session, name and affiliation of the session moderator, a short description of the session (no more than 250 words), along with at least four abstracts for presentations focused on the session topic. Each abstract should identify the session for which it is being submitted.

    The program committee also is soliciting organizations interested in organizing and leading field trips to projects or resources of interest to conference participants.
